A thank you from the HIA President!
Hi All,
I would like to take this opportunity both as the president of the HIA, and personally, to congratulate everyone involved in the recent Melbourne competition on the way you came together as one big happy family in the name of Hapkido. Wether you were an organiser, administrator, competitor or visitor, you have proven that there is nothing you can't do if you work together. I heard nothing but compliments and positive feedback from local parents as I got around to meet them after the competition.
I have not seen Grand Master Kim this happy and enthusiastic about the HIA since its inception many years ago. For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
As an association and family we must endeavour to maintain this momentum and use it to grow in all aspects of our Hapkido, at a personal development level, growing our number of family members and adding clubs to our network, both by promoting instructors from within and inviting club owners to join us as other associations fold under us.
I look forward with great enthusiasm and excitement to working with you to accomplish this.
